Winter - off to the races!

Steinhaus is a real winter sports village. The ski areas Klausberg (only 300m away) and Speikboden lure with fantastic conditions throughout winter. Slopes with snow-guarantee invite to rapid downhills, ski tourers trudge through endless white landscapes.

Here you can go skating, tobogganing, curling and cross country skiing (the trail runs through the whole Ahrntal Valley to Prettau and Hl. Geist). Who's in for a little bit more extreme action can even go ice climbing and snow kiting.
